Sri Vidya Mandir Matriculation Higher Secondary School is a unique Institution run by Rasipuram Sri Vidya Mandir Association. A handful of elite, pious and philanthropic citizens of Rasipuram formed the Vidya Mandir School Committee in the year 1979, and started an English medium school. The school blossomed as a Matriculation School in the academic year 1984 – 85 and became a Higher Secondary School in 1992 – 93 following the State Board pattern. Tamil Medium has also been introduced in Standard XI & XII from the year 2004 – 05. The school is now having student strength 1900. The school celebrated its Silver Jubilee in the year 2004.

                        To attain these goals extra – curricular activities, such as Music, Dance, Drawing, Yoga, Life Skills, Abacus, Chess, Physical and Health Education, Karate, Scouts, School Band Excursions are organized. The promoters are meticulously giving the best education at the lowest cost. They have founded the Institutions as non – profit and service oriented.
